UK Toddler Breaks 2 Snooker Records Before Age 3

A two-year-old from the UK is rewriting the record books one shot at a time, proving that world-class talent can show up at any age.

Jude Owens started playing snooker when his dad Luke bought him a miniature table as a toy. Within months, the toddler was perched on stools around full-sized tables, practicing shots that challenge even adult players.

At just 2 years and 261 days old, Jude became the youngest person ever to make a snooker double pot. That's when you legally pocket two balls with a single strike into different pockets. Forty-one days later, he set another record as the youngest person to make a pool bank shot, where the cue ball bounces off the rails before sinking the target ball.

Luke knew something special was happening the moment his son picked up a cue. "Jude has achieved quite a lot in such a short space of time, but to have two world records, it's probably a pinnacle moment," the proud father said.

The tiny champion has already mastered advanced techniques like floating bridge shots and using the rest. His skills impressed professional players including Kyren Wilson, John Parrot, and Jimmy White when Jude met them at tournaments.
