US Donates Heavy-Duty Trucks to Ghana Armed Forces

Ghana's Armed Forces just got a major upgrade that will help them save lives and build communities across the nation.

The US Embassy in Ghana donated three heavy-duty trailer heads to the Ghana Armed Forces through the African Crisis Response Initiative. The trucks will enable the military's Engineer Training School to haul massive construction equipment like road graders, backhoes, and front-end loaders to wherever they're needed most.

Deputy Defence Minister Ernest Brogya Genfi celebrated the donation as a game changer for Ghana's military engineers. Beyond protecting the nation, these soldiers are increasingly on the front lines of disaster response and national development projects.

The timing couldn't be better. Ghana's military engineers are currently working to restore river bodies and forests damaged by illegal mining operations.
