USPS Employees Raise Nearly $2M for Federal Charity Drive
Postal workers across America pledged almost $2 million to help charities through the federal government's annual workplace giving campaign. The donations included cash pledges and thousands of volunteer hours from employees who wanted to make a difference.
Postal Service employees just proved that delivering mail isn't the only way they serve their communities.
USPS workers pledged nearly $2 million during the most recent Combined Federal Campaign, the federal government's annual workplace charity drive. The total includes $1.89 million in cash donations plus another $96,805 worth of volunteer time from 2,745 hours of service.
The campaign ran from October 1, 2025, through January 31 under the theme "Your Gift. Their Future." Workers could choose from thousands of approved charities to support causes they care about most.
"I am grateful so many USPS employees supported the CFC," said Amy Moyer-Dodd, a USPS program and policy analyst who served as national campaign manager. The participation showed postal workers stepping up even while managing their demanding daily routes and schedules.

Regional pride played a role too. The Southern retail and delivery area led all regions with $494,341 in pledges. The Eastern processing region topped its division with $198,108, while the Atlantic logistics region brought in $53,115.
The Ripple Effect
These donations reach far beyond a single workplace giving campaign. The Combined Federal Campaign supports thousands of charities nationwide, from local food banks to international relief organizations. Every dollar pledged by postal workers flows directly to causes fighting hunger, supporting veterans, funding medical research, and building stronger communities.
When postal employees volunteer their time, they're doubling down on service. Those 2,745 hours represent people showing up after work shifts, on weekends, and during time off to make their neighborhoods better.
The impact multiplies because federal workplace campaigns inspire giving beyond the office. When coworkers see colleagues donating and volunteering, it creates a culture of generosity that spreads to families, friends, and entire communities.
Postal workers already connect Americans through their daily deliveries, and now they're connecting resources to people who need them most.
