Just as the eggs were about to release, a young child ran into the middle of the field directly beneath the drop zone. A volunteer spotted the danger immediately and sprinted onto the field, scooping up the child and rushing to safety just before thousands of eggs came crashing down.

"When she turned and those eggs started coming, I said, 'Oh my gosh.' It was like watching some action movie in slow motion," said Jim Moore, an associate pastor at the church who witnessed the rescue.
