Wales Star Jess Fishlock Ends Legendary 12-Year Seattle Run

The Welsh midfielder announced she'll retire at the end of the current National Women's Soccer League season after 12 remarkable years with Seattle Reign. Since joining the club's inaugural season in 2013, Fishlock has become the only remaining original player on the roster, making 219 appearances and cementing herself as a Seattle icon.

She retired from international play last October but couldn't quite leave the game behind, signing one more season with Reign and even joining Wales' coaching staff as a technical assistant earlier this year.
