The Wellington couple noticed that laundry outsourcing was common in the US and UK but barely existed in New Zealand. They invested $250,000 to open a cozy boutique laundromat with 15 machines, then added pickup and delivery service to really give people their time back.

They realized they couldn't do everything themselves and now employ five people plus Jay working full time while Armi helps part time around her public service job.
