Sponsors noticed too. The tournament delivered a 330 percent increase in sponsorship revenues and generated £201 million in media value for partners. Four out of five major sponsors extended their commitment to women's rugby after seeing the results.

The tournament's "Where We Belong" campaign resonated deeply, especially with young women. Seventy-five percent of women aged 13 to 25 reported feeling more motivated to be active after engaging with the event.

Players loved it too, with 82 percent rating their experience as good or excellent. Fans gave the tournament a Net Promoter Score of +84, placing it above many other major global sporting events.

The impact reaches far beyond England's borders. World Rugby is now using lessons from 2025 to strengthen women's rugby programs worldwide, building expertise within member unions and creating leadership pathways for women and girls globally.

Thousands of volunteers, many experiencing their first major sporting event, helped create a welcoming atmosphere that made 96 percent of spectators describe the tournament as inspiring. Those volunteers are now taking that energy back to their communities.
