3,000 Rhode Islanders Cleaned 117K Pieces of Beach Trash
Nearly 3,000 volunteers collected over 117,000 pieces of litter from Rhode Island beaches last year, and this Saturday's Charlestown cleanup adds to that momentum. The event runs from 9 to 11 a.m. and feeds data to scientists tracking ocean waste worldwide.
