Friends Honor Late Pal with Beach Cleanups in Florence
Two friends in Florence host biannual beach cleanups, collecting 20 pounds of microplastics each time to protect local wildlife while honoring their late friend's environmental legacy. The events bring volunteers together on National Coastal Cleanup Day to keep harmful plastics out of the ocean food chain.
