Thousands of Los Angeles County residents are gearing up for the 37th annual Coastal Cleanup Day this Saturday, continuing a powerful tradition that has pulled more than 2 million pounds of trash from local waterways. Last year alone, nearly 7,000 volunteers collected over 20,000 pounds of debris from 70 locations across the county.
