New Hampshire Trains Volunteers to Bridge Legal Gap
In rural Coos County, New Hampshire, where only eight lawyers serve the entire region, a $425,000 grant will train librarians, shelter workers, and other community members to help neighbors access legal services. The program turns trusted local voices into legal guides who can help families navigate food assistance, Medicaid, and housing issues.
