He Swam Through Floodwaters to Reach 1,000 Families

When Produnaya arrived in Assam's flood-hit region to distribute relief supplies, he found villages that hadn't received any help at all. Roads had vanished, phone networks barely worked, and boats couldn't reach the most isolated communities.

So he and his team made a choice: they would walk. For hours, they pushed through chest-deep water and thick mud to reach families stranded without food, clean water, or medicine. When the water got too deep to walk, they swam.

In just 10 days, the team reached 16 remote villages and supported more than 1,000 families. They brought food, clean drinking water, medicines, school supplies, and tarpaulins to people who had been forgotten in the crisis.

For Produnaya, this mission carries deep personal meaning. Growing up with a farmer father, he experienced financial hardship firsthand and knew what it meant to struggle for something as basic as school fees.
