Supercar Track Day Helps Kids Get Beds in Chichester

When V2 Radio discovered that 10 to 15 local children every week need help getting a bed to sleep in, they decided to do something unforgettable about it.

The Saywell International Charity Supercar Track Day returns to Goodwood Racetrack on August 8, 2026, bringing together petrolheads and families for a completely free event. Last year's track day was a massive success, and organizers are hoping to raise even more this time around.

V2 Radio partnered with Ashton Care Group, Cuff Miller, and the Chichester Harbour Rotary Club to address what many didn't realize was a growing crisis. The Rotary Club reports that children without proper beds struggle in school because they can't get adequate rest.

Every donation and raffle ticket purchase goes directly toward buying beds, mattresses, bedding, and pillows for children in the Sussex area. The event features spectacular supercars tearing around the famous Goodwood circuit, entertainment for kids, and raffle prizes that make the day even more exciting.

Local businesses are stepping up too. Some are collecting donations from employees and customers, while others are spreading the word on social media or organizing their own fundraisers.
