UAE Cycling Team Wins 5th Straight Montreal Title

A cycling team from the UAE just made history in Montreal, proving that sustained excellence isn't just possible—it's happening right now.

Mexican cyclist Isaac del Toro, riding for the Emirates XRG team, won the Grand Prix cycling race in Montreal on Sunday. He beat French competitor Paul Seixas in a thrilling two-way sprint to the finish line.

The victory marks the fifth straight year that the Emirates team has won in Montreal. Previous winners from the team include Slovenian superstar Tadej Pogačar, British rider Adam Yates, and American Brandon McNulty, who won last year.

McNulty made the podium again this year, finishing third just 27 seconds behind del Toro. Two Emirates riders standing on the Montreal podium shows the team's incredible depth of talent.

This single win pushed the Emirates XRG team to an impressive 73 victories for the season. They continue to lead the UCI World Team Rankings, cementing their position as the world's top cycling squad.

Cosnefroy completed the challenging 195-kilometer course alongside a large group of competitors before unleashing his sprint in the final meters. His podium finish capped off what he called "a positive week of racing in Italy."
