1,433 Women Bikers Shatter World Record in Rockford

Over 1,400 women proved that breaking barriers sounds even better with roaring engines.

On June 13, Midwest Women Riders gathered at Hard Rock Casino Rockford for "Get Your Groove On 2026," the largest women's motorcycle event in the Midwest. At 11 a.m., officials counted an impressive 1,433 female riders ready to hit the road together.

The group absolutely crushed the previous world record of 1,002 female riders, beating it by more than 400 participants. Women from across the country lined up on their motorcycles, creating a sea of riders that stretched through Rockford streets.

The event offered much more than just a world record attempt. Attendees enjoyed workshops, notable speakers, live entertainment, vendors, and group activities designed to celebrate the growing community of women motorcyclists.
