21 Cancer Survivors Walk Runway at Monterey Fashion Show

Twenty-one cancer survivors stepped into the spotlight last week, transforming a Pebble Beach ballroom into a celebration of hope, healing, and high fashion.

The American Cancer Society's 32nd annual Monterey Fashion Show brought together hundreds of supporters at Spanish Bay for an "Old Hollywood" themed evening. Linda Dilger walked the raised runway in glamorous attire while emcee David O'Neil told the crowd she embodies the enduring spirit of Helen Hayes, reminding everyone that "it does get better, and sometimes, life becomes more beautiful on the other side."
