The World Food Prize leads the pack, honoring individuals who've made exceptional contributions to global food security. Nominations close May 1st, recognizing measurable impact across the entire food and agriculture system.

Young innovators under 40 can compete for the Borlaug Field Award, which comes with $10,000 to support ongoing fieldwork fighting hunger. The prize specifically targets scientists making real-world changes in challenging environments through research and education.

Technology meets compassion in the AI for Good Impact Awards, which celebrate artificial intelligence solutions helping people, planet, and prosperity. The competition welcomes entries from organizations, governments, universities, and individuals proving AI can solve social problems.

Several programs focus on empowering social enterprises directly. The Miller Center Accelerator offers six months of intensive support helping senior leaders scale their impact through women's economic power and climate resilience, strengthening their path to investment and growth.

Countries are stepping up too. Austria's Development Agency launched the Business Partnership Challenge 2026, specifically targeting poverty reduction, peace promotion, and environmental protection in emerging economies.

Grassroots organizations haven't been forgotten. Japan's Grant Assistance program provides up to 20 million yen for small-scale community projects across Bangladesh, Palestine, and Mauritius, addressing health, education, and economic development where it's needed most.

Ireland's Children's Promise Grants Programme tackles child poverty head-on, offering between €15,000 and €100,000 over three years for organizations supporting young families. The focus stays laser-sharp on early years support, school transitions, and whole-family interventions.
