36 Graduates Celebrate Career Wins at Wales University

Thirty-six students walked across the stage at Cambria University Centre's graduation ceremony, each one representing a personal victory and a step toward professional success. The celebration at Wrexham's Glanrafon conference centre marked the completion of Higher National and professional qualifications that will shape careers across North Wales.

The graduates' achievements spanned an impressive range of fields. Some earned accounting diplomas through AAT Level 4, while others completed people management credentials through CIPD Level 5. Construction management, animal management, and leadership qualifications rounded out the diverse group.

Dr. Steven Peacock, Vice Principal of Academic Studies, highlighted what makes these wins special. "This celebration recognizes not only academic achievement, but also the dedication, resilience and ambition shown by every student throughout their journey with us," he said.

The ceremony brought together students, lecturers, families and friends for an afternoon of recognition. After the formal awards, guests snapped photos at a popular photo booth and shared refreshments while celebrating together.

Their Digital 2030 initiative aims to prepare learners for workplaces increasingly shaped by technology and AI. By offering flexible pathways to professional qualifications, the centre makes higher education accessible to more people in the region.

Partners including the Association of Accounting Technicians, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Institute of Leadership and Management, and Pearson supported the event. Their collaboration ensures students receive recognized, high-quality credentials.

Each graduate walked away with more than a certificate—they gained skills that open doors to meaningful careers and strengthen their communities.
