6-Year-Old Sells 100,000 Girl Scout Cookies, Breaks Record

When Pim Neill was just three years old, she watched Girl Scouts selling cookies in her neighborhood and knew exactly what she wanted to do. Three years later, the Pittsburgh kindergartner has made history by selling 100,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in one season, obliterating the previous national record.

The 6-year-old Daisy Scout's rise to cookie fame started with a simple TikTok video. "Hi, my name is Pim. Do you wanna buy some Girl Scout cookies?" she asks in the clip, her blue glasses matching her vest perfectly as she holds up a box of Thin Mints. The video has racked up over five million views.

But Pim didn't just rely on viral fame. She still walks door to door in her Pittsburgh neighborhood, combining modern marketing with traditional salesmanship that would make any entrepreneur proud.

Getting to this moment wasn't easy for Pim and her family. Her dad Luke Anorak-Neill searched for a troop where his daughter could belong, but the first one turned her away, saying Pim's disabilities would hold the group back. A second troop rejected her for being too young.

The family refused to give up. They eventually found a kindergarten-only troop where Pim joined 10 other Daisy Scouts and began her record-breaking campaign in January.

What makes Pim's story so special isn't just the massive sales numbers. It's watching a little girl prove that the word "can't" doesn't belong in anyone's vocabulary. After facing rejection twice, she found her place and then went on to inspire thousands of other young girls across the country.

Her dad says they've received tremendous support from Girl Scouts throughout the journey. "We're just excited that we're inspiring so many more girls," Anorak-Neill told CBS Pittsburgh.

Now Pim has developed a taste for both Thin Mints and Samoas, and her digital storefront remains open through March 22 for anyone who wants to support a young entrepreneur who's already learned one of life's most important lessons: persistence pays off.
