85% Pass Rate in India's Second-Chance Exams

Nearly 3,000 students in India's Visakhapatnam district just got a second chance at their dreams, and most of them seized it.

A total of 2,846 students passed their SSC supplementary exams in May, achieving an impressive 84.70% pass rate. These are students who didn't make it the first time around but refused to give up on their education.

Of the 3,360 students who took the SSC Regular exams, 1,730 boys and 1,116 girls came out successful. District Educational Officer N. Prem Kumar announced the results on Friday, marking a fresh start for thousands of young people.

The success extended beyond traditional schooling too. The Open School program, designed for students who need flexible learning options, saw 353 students pass their SSC exams with a 57% success rate.
