92-Year-Old Leaves China to Best Friend's Daughter

When Beverly Ooley left a voicemail for Lina Perez, she wasn't just offering dishes. She was offering a legacy to someone she considers family.

Ooley, 92, lives in Redding, California, in the same house where she grew up. She's been best friends with Perez's mother for over a decade, and their bond runs deep—Ooley calls Perez's mom her "little sister."
