Graduates in caps and gowns celebrating at Samsung Innovation Campus in Dilijan, Armenia

93 Students Graduate Free AI Training in Armenia

🤯 Mind Blown

Samsung's campus in Armenia just celebrated its fourth graduation, including the first class to complete a free nine-month artificial intelligence course. This tech education program is helping transform a small country into a regional innovation hub.

Ninety-three students from across Armenia walked across the graduation stage this June, armed with cutting-edge tech skills they didn't pay a cent to learn.

Samsung Innovation Campus at UWC Dilijan just celebrated its fourth cohort of graduates. Students from Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and other Armenian communities completed the intensive nine-month program completely free of charge.

The standout moment? Nineteen university students became the first graduates of the campus's new artificial intelligence course. They spent months mastering machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, and natural language processing.

The program isn't easy. Students commit to four hours of weekly in-person classes and must present individual projects to industry experts before earning their certification. This year's evaluation panel included professionals from Nvidia, Yandex, and other major tech companies.

One graduate project after another impressed the judges, progressing from initial concepts to fully working solutions. The pass rate remains consistently high since the campus opened in 2021.

Samsung equipped the Dilijan facility with 25 state-of-the-art computer stations and interactive displays. The company also developed the AI curriculum with its own experts, ensuring students learn skills that match current industry needs.

Beyond the AI track, younger students aged 14 to 16 can take mobile application development courses. Both programs remain fully funded by Samsung, removing financial barriers for talented young Armenians.

The Ripple Effect

This initiative reaches far beyond individual graduates. Armenia is positioning itself as a regional technology hub, and programs like this one provide the skilled workforce to make that vision real.

Since 2021, the campus has trained hundreds of young people in highly sought-after tech fields. Each graduate enters the job market with practical experience and industry connections, strengthening Armenia's growing tech sector.

The international school setting adds another layer of impact. UWC Dilijan hosts 220 students from over 80 countries, creating a global community around innovation and learning.

Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are already open for both courses. Another wave of students will soon get the chance to transform their futures through world-class tech education, all without worrying about tuition.
