Aberdeen Builds $155M School for 1,600 Students by 2028

Students walking past Hazlehead Academy in Aberdeen can now watch their future school rising from the ground as 80 truckloads of steel transform empty playing fields into a modern learning campus.

Construction started in March 2024 and follows a careful timeline. Once students move into the new building in 2028, crews will demolish the old structure and complete outdoor facilities by summer 2029.
