Artist Breaks World Record With 738,000 LEGO Bricks

Ritam Bhatnagar spent 2,100 hours turning 738,000 LEGO bricks into a Guinness World Record. The Indian artist and filmmaker recently completed the world's largest LEGO mosaic, proving that childhood dreams can become record-breaking realities.

The massive artwork, officially titled "Largest LEGO Mosaic (Multiple Panels)," debuted at R City Mall in Ghatkopar, Mumbai on July 25. The timing perfectly coincided with the opening of Mumbai's first official LEGO Store.

But Bhatnagar insists this wasn't a solo achievement. His parents handled major portions of the project, from designing the mosaic to procuring hundreds of thousands of bricks.

Close friends and supporters rallied around the vision too, working 20-hour days and solving countless unexpected challenges. RJ Megha, who had encouraged Bhatnagar's artistic work for over 15 years, was among the first to champion the ambitious project.

Bhatnagar's achievement shows what happens when communities rally behind bold ideas. His three-year-old self would never have believed this moment was possible, he shared on Instagram.

The TedX speaker and founder of IFP (formerly Indian Film Project) turned an impossible-sounding dream into tangible proof that creative ambition has no limits. His success creates a roadmap for other artists wondering if their biggest ideas are too big.
