Bruce Willis Celebrates Daughter's Wedding in Idaho

Bruce Willis made his daughter's wedding dreams come true.

The actor attended Tallulah Willis's wedding to Justin Acee on August 8 at the family home in Hailey, Idaho. A photo published in Vogue shows Tallulah embracing her father as he clasped her new husband's hand, capturing what the bride called "a tender moment with my dad and Justin at the start of wedding weekend."

The moment held special meaning for Tallulah. In 2021, she attended a friend's wedding and wept in the bushes after hearing the bride's father give a moving speech.

"I realized that I would never get that moment, my dad speaking about me in adulthood at my wedding," she wrote in an essay for Vogue. "It was devastating."

Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023 after initially being diagnosed with aphasia in 2022. He has since stepped away from public appearances, making his presence at the wedding even more precious to his family.

Tallulah shared in her Vogue essay how her perspective on her father's illness has evolved. "In the past I was so afraid of being destroyed by sadness, but finally I feel that I can show up and be relied upon," she wrote.

She found strength in being present. "I can savor that time, hold my dad's hand, and feel that it's wonderful."
