BYD's 9-Minute EV Charge Could End Range Anxiety Forever

Electric vehicle charging just got faster than ordering coffee at a drive-through.

BYD plans to build 20,000 "Lightning Charging Stations" across China by the end of this year, each equipped with ultra-fast 1,500-kilowatt chargers. Chairman Wang emphasized this isn't future technology but something "ready to use" right now.
