Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston Join Team USA Roster

Two Indiana Fever superstars are heading to Puerto Rico to wear red, white, and blue for their country.

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston have been named to Team USA's 12-player roster for the World Cup Qualifiers, happening March 11-17 in San Juan. The announcement marks a major milestone for Clark, who will make her competitive debut on the senior national team after fully recovering from injuries that plagued her 2025 WNBA season.

Boston brings veteran experience to the squad, having competed in the 2024 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgium. This time, she'll share the court with her Fever teammate on the international stage.

The roster reads like a who's who of women's basketball talent. Paige Bueckers, Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Dearica Hamby, Rhyne Howard, Kiki Iriafen, Kelsey Plum, Angel Reese, and Jackie Young round out the team. Five players total will be making their competitive senior debuts, including rising stars Bueckers, Citron, Iriafen, and Reese.

Head coach Kara Lawson will lead the squad with help from Fever coach Stephanie White. The team reunites March 7-8 in Miami for training camp before heading to Puerto Rico.

Team USA has already secured its spot at the World Cup in Berlin this September. The WNBA will pause from August 31 to September 17 so players can compete in Germany.
