Cat Mazy Survives 10-Story Fall in Boston

A one-year-old cat is proving that resilience comes in all sizes after surviving a 10-story fall from a Boston-area apartment building.

Mazy arrived at the MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center on May 11 with injuries that would have been devastating for most animals. X-rays revealed both front legs were broken and one of her lungs had collapsed.

But the veterinary team at Angell didn't give up on her. Surgeons successfully repaired both of Mazy's fractured legs, and she's now recovering in their care with several more weeks of healing ahead.
