China Tire Giant Plans $550M Egypt Expansion

China National Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd., a global industry leader, met with Egyptian officials this week to discuss expanding operations in Alexandria with a $550 million investment project. The company already operates in Egypt and sees huge potential for growth.

Deputy Prime Minister Hussein Eissa welcomed the expansion plans during meetings at the government headquarters in Egypt's New Capital. He outlined Egypt's comprehensive program to support investment, including new incentives designed to attract quality manufacturers and help the country develop its own advanced industrial capabilities.
