Chinese Robot Bolt Sprints at 22 MPH in Real Test

A full-size humanoid robot just clocked 22 miles per hour during a real sprint, and the footage proves this isn't science fiction anymore.

Chinese robotics company MirrorMe Technology unveiled Bolt, a humanoid robot that reached highway speeds inside a controlled testing facility. The video shows the robot maintaining perfect balance while running faster than most people will ever sprint in their lives.

Bolt stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds, roughly the size of an average adult. MirrorMe deliberately designed it to match human proportions rather than creating an oversized mechanical sprinter.

The company posted a split-screen video comparing Bolt to its founder, Wang Hongtao, running on identical treadmills. As the pace increased, Wang eventually gave up while Bolt kept going, taking shorter but much faster strides to maintain stability.

This isn't a one-off stunt. MirrorMe has been perfecting robotic speed since 2016, and last year set records with both two-legged and four-legged robots that exceeded 22 mph.
