Colombia Hits 4.6 GW Solar Capacity in Clean Energy Surge

The South American nation has installed 4,580 megawatts of solar capacity since August 2022, skyrocketing from a mere 200 MW just two years ago. That's enough power to supply millions of homes with clean electricity instead of fossil fuels.

Colombia still needs to add about 1,350 megawatts to reach its 6,000 megawatt target by August 2026. At the current pace, that goal looks entirely achievable.
