Cyclist Rides 11,000 Miles to All 30 NFL Stadiums

A world-record cyclist is about to complete one of the most ambitious bike rides in history, and it's all for a good cause.

Bond Almand began his journey at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami with a simple mission: bike solo to all 30 NFL stadiums across America and hand-deliver an official football to the Seattle kickoff game on September 9th. Tonight, he reaches Gold Beach, Oregon, nearing the finish line of his 11,000-mile trek.

Almand isn't new to extreme challenges. He already holds world records for the fastest ride along the 14,000-mile Pan-American Highway and the fastest north-south crossing of the United States.

But this journey is different. No one has ever biked solo to every NFL venue before.

"This journey is about endurance, curiosity, and the connections you make along the way," Almand said. Living out of a bag for weeks on end tests both body and mind, but the connections with people across the country make every mile worth it.

The Ripple Effect

The impact extends far beyond one man's incredible ride. Extreme Networks, Oakley, and the NFL are backing this 250th birthday celebration of America, turning it into a fundraising opportunity for the next generation.

At the end of the journey, Almand's bicycle will be auctioned through the NFL Auction platform. Every single dollar raised goes directly to GENYOUth and the NFL's PLAY 60 initiative, programs dedicated to encouraging active, healthy lifestyles for young people across the country.

By the time Almand delivers that football in Seattle, he'll have crossed mountains, deserts, and plains. He'll have connected communities from coast to coast and inspired countless people to get moving.
