Dallas Photographer Captures Stranger's Proposal by Chance

Quran Gooch was in the middle of an engagement shoot at a Dallas garden when he noticed something special happening nearby. A man on a bridge was dropping to one knee, ring box in hand, about to propose to his partner.

The photographer faced an instant dilemma. He was being paid to photograph a different couple, who were standing on cement pillars in the middle of a pond. But a proposal without photos felt like a missed opportunity he couldn't ignore.

His clients made the choice easy. The original couple saw what was happening and encouraged Gooch to hurry over and capture the stranger's proposal. They were nearly finished with their own shoot anyway.
