EasyJet Offers Free Teddy Trackers for Traveling Families

Any parent who has witnessed a full meltdown over a missing stuffed bunny knows that some travel essentials matter more than passports.

Starting July 31, EasyJet is handing out free tile trackers at London Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast airports to help families protect their kids' most treasured travel companions. Parents simply attach the small device to the stuffed toy, connect it to an app via Bluetooth, and can track its location throughout the trip.

The airline partnered with Life360 to launch the "Teddy Tracker" program after discovering just how seriously families take their comfort toys. A survey of over 1,000 parents revealed that 55% would actually change their vacation plans to retrieve a lost stuffed animal.

"For many children, a favourite teddy or comfort toy is an important part of the journey and losing it can be upsetting at what should be an exciting time," said Stuart Wright, customer director at EasyJet holidays. The trackers will be available while supplies last at bag drop locations.

The data shows stuffed bunnies now reign supreme as the most popular travel companion in 2026, claiming 26% of the cuddly toy market. Traditional teddy bears come in second at 25%, followed by action figures and dolls at 15%. The most popular names reported are Bunny, Teddy, Fluffy and Billy.
