Egypt Launches AI-Powered Platform for 81K Entrepreneurs

Egypt is giving its startup community a powerful new digital home, and tens of thousands of entrepreneurs are already using it.

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency launched the revamped Egypt Innovate platform at the AI Everything Middle East & Africa Summit, bringing together more than 30 countries and global tech leaders. This isn't just another startup directory; it's Egypt's first fully integrated national platform designed to connect every piece of the innovation puzzle.

The numbers tell an impressive story. During its pilot phase alone, Egypt Innovate attracted 81,536 registered users, including entrepreneurs, innovators, and ecosystem supporters. The platform now hosts 780 entities ranging from startups to investors and business incubators, plus nearly 4,000 pieces of content covering opportunities, news, and expert advice.

What makes the platform special is its AI-powered approach to solving real problems. An intelligent assistant guides entrepreneurs through the ecosystem and helps them find relevant services quickly. Interactive data maps let users explore and analyze startups, investors, and research centers with advanced filtering by sector, technology, and location.

The platform's smart matching tools use data analytics to connect startups with the right investors, potentially closing funding gaps faster. Entrepreneurs can showcase their products, company profiles, and investment decks in a digital gallery, making it easier to catch investors' attention and build strategic partnerships.

Ahmed ElZaher, CEO of ITIDA, emphasized that the platform leverages data and advanced technology as a foundation for sustainable economic growth. It creates a unified digital meeting point connecting government policies with startups, investors, universities, and the research community.

A consortium led by Entlaq developed and operates the platform, partnering with Robusta for technical infrastructure and Kamelizer for digital marketing. This public-private partnership model brings together strategic vision and technical expertise to serve Egypt's entire innovation ecosystem.

The platform's commitment to Arabic-language content opens doors for entrepreneurs who might otherwise face language barriers. Supporting technical and entrepreneurship content in Arabic strengthens digital inclusion and helps build local talent capable of competing globally.
