Egypt Party to Distribute 1M Food Boxes This Ramadan

One million families across Egypt will receive food support this Ramadan thanks to a nationwide initiative launched by the National Front Party. The "Ramadan Gift" and "A New Beginning" programs aim to ease financial burdens on households during the holy month.

Party Chairman Assem al-Gazzar announced the initiative at a celebration in Cairo's Rehab area, emphasizing that political achievements must translate into meaningful support for citizens. The program reflects the party's commitment to its societal responsibilities beyond governance.

The initiative goes beyond basic food distribution. Along with the million food boxes reaching families in governorates nationwide, the party is also providing 7,500 tons of meat and poultry at reduced prices to help families afford complete Ramadan meals.

The National Front Party isn't working alone on this massive undertaking. Civil society organizations are partnering with party members to coordinate distribution efforts and ensure supplies reach the families who need them most.

Secretary-General Mohamed Omran explained that party members in each governorate are managing local distribution to guarantee effective delivery. This ground-level coordination helps identify vulnerable groups and strengthens the values of social solidarity that define Ramadan.

The timing addresses real economic pressures many Egyptian families face. Food costs typically rise during Ramadan due to increased demand, making subsidized supplies especially valuable for households struggling with daily expenses.
