Egypt to Host 10,000 Entrepreneurs from 70 Nations in 2026

Egypt is preparing to host one of the world's largest gatherings of entrepreneurs, a three-day festival that will bring together innovators, investors, and startup founders from across the globe.

The Global Entrepreneurship Festival will take place November 6-8, 2026, in Egypt, marking the first time an African nation has hosted the international event. Deputy Prime Minister Hussein Eissa announced that preparations are already underway to welcome more than 10,000 participants from over 70 countries.

The festival will feature more than 100 exhibitors and 60 international speakers representing government and business leadership. Participants will explore topics including artificial intelligence, green energy transitions, youth and women's empowerment, and financing opportunities for small and medium businesses.

Eissa emphasized that hosting this event reflects Egypt's growing reputation as a regional center for entrepreneurship and innovation. The country has been building its startup ecosystem through the Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship, which works to create an environment where new businesses can thrive.
