Egypt's First Heart Imaging Center Earns Elite Status

Al-Mabara Heart Academy in Egypt has earned accreditation from the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, making it the first certified center in both Egypt and Africa. The academy now joins an exclusive global network of only 100 accredited facilities worldwide and becomes the fourth in the entire Middle East.

The accreditation means Egyptian and African doctors can now receive world-class training in cardiovascular imaging without traveling to Europe or North America. Ministry of Health spokesperson Hossam Abdel Ghaffar called it a major milestone that reflects years of dedication to medical excellence. The academy achieved European standards by investing in cutting-edge cardiovascular imaging technology and building programs that meet rigorous international requirements.

The Commercial International Bank supported the academy's infrastructure and technical capabilities through a strategic partnership. That investment helped transform the facility into a training powerhouse capable of teaching the latest diagnostic techniques to medical professionals across the region.

This achievement extends far beyond one building in Egypt. Doctors trained at Al-Mabara will return to hospitals and clinics across Africa, bringing advanced cardiac imaging skills to communities that desperately need them.

Chairman Mohamed Shaqwir emphasized that the accreditation represents Egypt's commitment to advancing healthcare according to global standards while strengthening the country's position in international medicine.
