Former West Ham captain Mark Noble, who attended the ceremony representing the club, summed up Hurst's legacy perfectly. "Growing up in the area, you can't help knowing about Geoff Hurst and what the boy has done for West Ham," Noble said. "Geoff's done so much for this country and for our club."
