The Kordelin Foundation is offering €45,000 grants to help recent doctoral graduates spend 12 to 18 months developing their ideas into academic breakthroughs, innovative businesses, or practical solutions that benefit society.

The timing couldn't be better. That awkward gap between earning a PhD and establishing an independent career has long been a stumbling block for brilliant minds with big ideas but limited resources.

Eligible applicants must have completed their doctorate at a Finnish university within the past two years or received permission to defend their thesis.
