Florida Online School Honored for Expanding Education Access

A Florida online school just got recognized by city leaders for making education accessible to students who've been left behind by traditional systems.

American High School received an official proclamation from Plantation Mayor Nick Sortal during an April City Council meeting. The honor celebrates the school's work expanding educational opportunities for students across the country through flexible online learning.
