Hundreds of students got their hands on the technology shaping Florida's future at NeoCity STEM Day this weekend, exploring everything from emergency response drones to semiconductor manufacturing. The Florida Semiconductor Engine's presence highlighted the state's growing role in microelectronics manufacturing, an industry projected to create thousands of high-paying jobs. Students left knowing they don't need to move to Silicon Valley to launch tech careers.
