BioM, bioRN, and ESMT Berlin announced a game-changing alliance called the Unified Hub for Healthcare Innovation. The partnership brings together three of the country's most successful life science regions to create a connected network spanning Bavaria, the Rhine-Neckar area around Heidelberg, and Berlin.

The collaboration solves a real problem. Germany hosts world-class research universities, cutting-edge startups, and major pharmaceutical companies, but these innovators often work in regional bubbles. The Unified Hub breaks down those walls by connecting researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts across the entire country.

The alliance builds on an already successful program called Creative Destruction Lab Berlin Health Stream, which has been pairing ambitious science-based ventures with experienced mentors since 2022. Now the partners are expanding that model with new initiatives designed to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and market-ready healthcare solutions.

BioM brings 25 years of experience supporting Bavaria's biotech industry, having helped launch over 250 startups. BioRN connects more than 185 members in the Rhine-Neckar region, including ten global pharmaceutical companies and leading research institutions. ESMT Berlin contributes expertise in deep tech innovation through its DEEP Institute.

Together, they're creating something bigger than the sum of their parts. Startups developing new therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices, or digital health tools can now tap into expertise and connections across all three regions instead of being limited to their local network.
