Ghana Youth Gain Free Skills in AI, Leadership, and Business

Young people across Ghana just got a powerful head start on their futures, thanks to a foundation determined to build tomorrow's leaders today.

The HIDAH Humanitarian Foundation wrapped up a free two-day skills development program at MAJD International School in East Legon, Accra. Participants walked away with practical training in everything from AI productivity tools to starting their own businesses.

Founder Mujahida Ibrahim Prah designed the program around a simple belief: giving people skills creates lasting change. "Empowering people with skills, knowledge, confidence, and opportunities gives them the tools to build better lives and positively impact others," she explained.

The workshop brought together seven expert trainers who covered the skills young entrepreneurs need most right now. Participants learned how to use artificial intelligence for productivity and innovation from tech specialist Ayisha Mohammed Saliya. Ibrahim Mohammed Hallibu taught them how to turn creative skills into profitable startups.

Former Information Minister Fatimatu Abubakar delivered one of the most memorable sessions on personal leadership. She reminded participants that real leadership starts with leading yourself first, not waiting for a title or position.

Public speaking coach Ibrahim Mustapha helped attendees build the confidence to lead teams people actually trust. Event planner Suweiba Awudu Bawa unlocked their creative potential through hands-on decoration training.

The program didn't just teach isolated skills. It created an environment where young people could network, ask questions, and imagine new possibilities for their careers and communities.
