Ghana's First Sky Group Celebrates 23 Years of Growth

When Eric Seddy Kutortse's company celebrated 23 years in business, his old school friends showed up in force to cheer him on.

First Sky Group's anniversary celebration in Ghana drew an impressive crowd, including President John Dramani Mahama as guest of honor. But one group stood out: the Greater Accra Old Vandals Association, alumni from Kutortse's school, who came to support one of their own.

Kutortse, the company's Executive Chairman, beamed as he thanked his fellow "Vandals" for their presence. The show of solidarity clearly moved him, and he told the gathering how much their support meant to him.

President Mahama praised First Sky Group for two decades of consistency and contribution to Ghana's economy. He encouraged the team to keep working with dedication and integrity as they move into their next chapter.

What started as one company 23 years ago has grown into a business empire creating jobs across Ghana. First Sky Group now operates in construction, hospitality, insurance, banking, and commodities trading.

The company runs two hotels (Volta Serene and Western Serene), with a third opening soon in Oti. They've launched Serene Insurance, Frerol Rural Bank, and First Sky Commodities. Their construction and bitumen processing divisions keep building infrastructure across the nation.

Each new venture means more employment opportunities for Ghanaians. The company's growth shows how one entrepreneur's vision can ripple outward, creating livelihoods for families and strengthening communities.
