Giant Moon Resort Could Open by 2032 with Lunar Walk

Imagine walking on the Moon without leaving Earth, and you'll get the idea behind the world's most ambitious resort project now in development.

Moon World Resorts has unveiled plans for a giant sphere-shaped building that would let visitors experience what it's like to stand on the lunar surface. At 889 feet in diameter and 1,023 feet tall, the structure would be nearly three times larger than the famous Sphere in Las Vegas.

The project's centerpiece is an "authentic" simulated Moon landscape where guests can explore what lunar walking might feel like. While the team hasn't revealed exactly how they'll recreate this experience, the vision represents a bold step toward making space tourism accessible to everyday people.

The massive sphere would house a 4,000-room hotel, with convention centers, restaurants, wellness facilities, and a boutique hotel filling out the ground level. Twenty tower structures would circle the main building, connected by an elevated walkway topped with solar panels. Sixteen smaller spheres are also planned nearby.

The resort isn't tied to a specific location yet. Potential host countries include the USA, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Poland, Spain, and Thailand. Each location would bring its own character to this futuristic destination.

This project represents more than just a wild architectural dream. It signals a future where space experiences become available to millions who might never become astronauts. By bringing the Moon to Earth, the resort democratizes an experience that has been limited to a few hundred people in human history.
