Rai shot a final round 65 to beat some of golf's biggest names, including Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm. He became the first Englishman to win the PGA Championship in over a century, claiming the Wanamaker Trophy through wind, cold, and challenging course conditions.

His wife Gaurika remembers questioning why he never voiced his ultimate goal. "Do you not believe that you can win?" she asked early in their relationship. His answer revealed everything about his approach: he'd rather focus on playing good golf than creating pressure through declarations.
