Greece NGO Brings Heart Care to Northern Nigeria

Heart Doctors, a Greece-based humanitarian organization, is deepening its medical mission in Bauchi State, bringing critical heart care to communities with limited access to specialized treatment.

The nonprofit met with Governor Bala Mohammed this week to discuss expanding their healthcare interventions across northern Nigeria. Working alongside Hellenic Aid, the team shared details of completed projects and outlined plans to reach more vulnerable populations in urgent need of cardiac care.

Governor Mohammed hosted the delegation at Government House before welcoming them to an Iftar dinner at his residence. Team leader Helen thanked the governor for his support and reaffirmed the organization's commitment to serving underserved communities in the region.
