Hamilton County Golf Event Raises Funds for Families in Need

For ten years, Hamilton County residents have turned Sunday afternoons into opportunities to help their neighbors while having fun with family and friends.

The Good Samaritan Network is hosting its 19th Annual Topgolf Charity Outing on September 20 at Topgolf Fishers. The event runs from 3 to 6 p.m., with check-in starting at 2:30 p.m.

Every ticket includes three hours of Topgolf play, an appetizer buffet, and entry to a silent auction. Winners get announced at 5:30 p.m. and take home their prizes the same day.

The money raised helps Hamilton County families access shelter, food, and holiday assistance through the Good Samaritan Network. The nonprofit works with schools, hospitals, police departments, and social service agencies to reach residents facing emergencies or ongoing hardship.

Topgolf transforms traditional golf into a game anyone can play, from experienced golfers to young kids. Players aim microchipped balls at dartboard-like targets up to 240 yards away, earning points based on accuracy and distance.

Groups of up to six people can share a bay, making it perfect for families, friend groups, or coworkers looking to bond while supporting a good cause. Youth ages 17 and under receive discounted registration.

The Ripple Effect

Good Samaritan Network doesn't just provide direct assistance. The organization created the GSN Network to help different agencies and services communicate better, making sure no family in need falls through the cracks.

Sponsorship packages range from Friend Sponsor (two players) to Gold Sponsor (12 players), each offering play time, food, and community recognition. Companies and individuals looking to support underserved neighbors while building local connections have four levels to choose from.

Can't make it to the event? The organization welcomes financial donations and in-kind gifts for the silent auction, from gift cards and picnic baskets to electronics and sports equipment. Donors receive receipts for their contributions.
