India Invites Sweden to Boost Clean Energy Investment

During separate talks with Swedish business leaders, Modi emphasized cooperation on sustainable mobility, defense technology, and digital infrastructure. He encouraged companies to embrace India's "Design for India, Make in India and Export from India" vision, turning the country into both a laboratory and factory for global green solutions.

Volvo Group, which hosted the event, represents the kind of partnership Modi envisions. The company already operates significant manufacturing operations in India and has committed to electrifying its vehicle lineup globally.
